JASON DREW | Managing Director
Jason’s depth of knowledge in the hospitality and financial industries began with an operational understanding of how these businesses operate from a practical perspective.
For Jason it’s not just a theoretical process, it about the operational requirements of how implementation and integration of third-party hardware and software work to build efficiencies in our business.
From his early experience as a technician in Bramble’s Security ATM repair division and working on the computers that ran the virtual reality rides and equipment at Sega Australia in Darling Harbour, to his years spent installing and repairing POS systems while qualifying to become a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, Jason has worked in the coalface.
Further IT based work in the hospitality sector gave him an in-depth knowledge of the integration of systems in clubs including: membership software, general ledger software, many point-of-sale companies, card printing companies, gaming manufacturers and gaming systems companies, security and access control companies, firewall technology, and Windows domain based centralised infrastructure and their operating requirements. In recent years Jason has expanded into the security space providing and installing the latest in Windows based camera security with remote access.
Over the last 18 years, his company, Secom, has grown into a professional Managed IT provider with a pro-active approach that moves away from the traditional break fix business model. The company has grown to approx. 170+ clients. Secom’s exposure and reputation across the club industry is extensive as one of the two largest Managed IT providers to the club industry.
